The Songwriter represents the next generation of turntables featuring a CD recorder and player, record player, cassette player, and an AM/FM radio. The CD recorder feature does not require a computer degree to operate. It is as simple as inserting a blank compact disc, putting on your favorite vinyl, and pressing the record button. The Songwriter provides users with a variety of different uses. The CD recorder enhancement gives consumers the option to preserve their cherished vinyls onto a compact disc. Recording the analog records onto a more modern compact disc ensures the consumers will have their favorite vinyl tunes preserved in a digital audio format for many years to come. Another exceptional feature of the Songwriter is the side mounted cassette deck. Not only can the user play their much loved cassettes, but they can also record from cassette to compact disc.
True to original Crosley stylings, the Songwriter features a hand rubbed wood veneer cabinet, wrap around woven grill cloth corners and quality components that only Crosley can deliver. The Songwriter CD Recorder comes complete with CD recorder, 3 speed belt driven turntable, AM/FM radio, programmable CD player, side mounted cassette deck, illuminated LCD display, and EQ presets, and supports CD-R/RW compact discs.
